Waste Disposal Sites
Council operates waste disposal sites:
- A general waste disposal facility at Corrigin (Brookton Hwy approx 3 km west)
- A green waste disposal (branches, leaves, clippings, and cuttings ONLY) site at Corrigin (Top end of Camm St, Corrigin)
- A regional waste disposal site at Bendering (Shire of Kondinin)
The general waste disposal facility at Corrigin is a manned site and open on the following days:

Please be advised that the waste disposal facility will be closed when a Total Fire Ban and Catastrophic Fire Danger Rating for the Shire of Corrigin occur simultaneously.
Townsite Rubbish Collection
The Shire provides a 140L bin kerbside collection service for the townsite of Corrigin as well as a recycling service. Bins are emptied each Monday morning and residents are advised to place their bins with the wheels away from the kerb the evening before collection.
Recycling
A kerbside recycling service is also provided by Avon Waste. Your 240L recycling bin (yellow lid) will be collected on the second and fourth Monday of each month.

Bin Service Request
Bins for new dwellings or replacements can be ordered through the Shire and any cost related to the repair or replacement of a bin is the residents responsibility.

Drum Muster
DrumMuster is a program set up to collect cleaned chemical drums for processing to enable reuse of the materials the drums are made from. More information on this program including what drums are eligible and the cleanliness standard required can be found at www.drummuster.com.au.
The Shire is a signatory to the DrumMuster program along with the Corrigin District High School P&C. Approved drums can be dropped off at the Waste Transfer Station, Brookton Highway when the facility is open. The opening hours can be found at the top of this page.
