Request a Bin Service
The Shire of Corrigin provides ratepayers with a weekly green lid domestic bin and fortnightly yellow lid recycling bin service via contractor Avon Waste.
Please note that requests for bin services will be processed during business hours, 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

Report a Damaged or Broken Bin
This form is to be used where Avon Waste owns the bin. To ensure the driver has the correct parts, please include a description of the damage to the bin. Please advise resident to place bin out as normal and repairs will be made on the next collection day. Please note: If the bin lid has come off the bin please place the lid next to the bin not on top.
Report a Stolen or Lost Bin
This form is to be used where Avon Waste owns the bin. It is the ratepayers responsibility to ensure the bin does not get wilfully damaged or stolen. If this occurs the ratepayer is liable and payment directly to Avon Waste is required before a replacement bin will be delivered. Payments can be made by calling Avon Waste (08 9641 1318. Once a request has been submitted the driver will assess the bin for fair wear and tear, if deemed fair wear and tear the bin will be replaced by Avon Waste at no charge. The bin can not be delivered until payment has been received.
Request a New Bin Service
This form is to be used if you wish to increase the number of services to your property. If you require an additional bin with the increase in service Avon waste will endeavour to deliver the bin on the next collection day after receiving this request.
Request an Additional Bin or Alteration to Service
This form is to be used if you wish to increase the number of services to your property. If you require an additional bin with the increase in service Avon Waste will endeavour to deliver the bin on the next collection day after receiving the request.
Reduce a bin service
This form is to be used if you wish to decrease the number of services to your property. Please note that properties in the compulsory service area can not reduce their services to none unless on a vacant block (no dwelling). It is a requirement of Council that a property with a dwelling has at least one service.
Request a Private Bin Purchase
This form is to be used when it is the responsibility of the resident is to supply the bin for the collection service. The form can be used to purchase bins and or parts to repair bins. Bins can be purchased for private use.
Important Information
Property Details - It is important that the ratepayer has their property marked with a House number, Lot number or Road side number (RSN) to ensure the driver can locate the property. Many times it is dark when the driver goes past some properties and without the house clearly marked it makes their job extremely difficult. Any additional information about the properties is greatly appreciated.
Delivery of Bins - Avon Waste will endeavour to deliver bins on the next collection day, however the trucks only have the capacity to hold a certain number of bins (this differs for each truck). Please be advised bins will be delivered as soon as possible.
