A Message from the President

To the Community and Staff and Councillors of the Shire of Corrigin.

As we approach the Christmas season and the end of another year, I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on the past 12 months and to thank anyone who has contributed to the life and progress of our Shire.

The year has highlighted the strength, resilience and generosity of the Corrigin community. Through collaboration, patience and a shared commitment to our Shire, we have continued to move forward.

I would like to sincerely thank our dedicated staff and councillors for their professionalism, hard work, and commitment throughout the year. Your efforts, often behind the scenes, play a vital role in delivering services and supporting our community, and they don’t go unnoticed.

To our residents, volunteers, community groups and local businesses, thank you for your ongoing support and engagement. Your involvement and community spirit are what make Corrigin a special place to live and work.

As we celebrate Christmas, I encourage everyone to take time to relax, recharge and reconnect with family and friends and look out for one another.

On behalf of Council, I wish you all a safe and happy Christmas and a healthy, positive and prosperous New Year. I look forward to continuing our work together in the year 2026.

Cr Sharon Jacobs

President of the Shire of Corrigin.
