and Groups who are looking for Project or Event funding support and assistance.

KIDSPORT

Is your Club registered for ‘KIDSPORT’ for the upcoming season???

To register for ‘KIDSPORT’, sport and

recreation clubs will need to register to be a part of the program at Clubs Online.

If already Registered on ‘Find a Club’, you will simply need to login, update details and register for ‘KIDSPORT’ at the

same time. Go to

to register now!

If you require any assistance, please contact Taryn Dayman at the Shire.

Please note that no ‘KIDSPORT’ applications

can be processed until the Club has competed its Registration for the upcoming season.

2017-2018 REGIONAL EVENTS SCHEME - NOW OPEN

Applications for Tourism WA’s 2017-18 Regional Events Scheme, which is jointly

funded by Royalties for Regions, are

now open. The deadline for applications is 5.00pm WST on

Tuesday, December 13, 2016.

The scheme offers funding for eligible regional events held between July 1, 2017 and June 30, 2018 that have the ability

or potential to attract visitors to the region, achieve media attention and involve and inspire the local community.

Event holders can apply for funding between $5,000 and $50,000. A funding pool of up to $850,000 has been allocated

for the 2017-18 RES round.

ACTIVE REGIONAL COMMUNITIES (ARC)

Aims to increase the opportunities for country people to participate in sporting and active-recreational activities in regional

Western Australia. ARC caters for both sporting and active-recreational groups and is aimed at the club level or to those

groups who are not participating in the department’s Organisational Sustainability Program (OSP).

Grants from $1,000 to $5,000 are available with organisations needing to demonstrate a significant contribution (up to

25%) towards the cost of the project/event and/or in-kind contribution.
