WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE PEOPLE
TO KNOW ABOUT YOU?
I grew up and schooled in Forrestfield,
WA and was a young Dad at 17 years.
I participated in a youth training
scheme at the Shire of Kalamunda,
working in the Parks & Gardens. I’ve
lived in other parts of the country,
Wollongong NSW and Queensland,
before coming back to WA to live and
work in Corrigin. I’ve been on the
Shire for a total of 9 years now (with a
break when I moved to Qld). I have a
wonderful wife Pippa, and three great
kids Cody, Gabe and Angel.
DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN
THREE WORDS?
Forgetful, easy-going, friendly.
HOW DO YOU RELAX WHEN
YOU’RE NOT AT WORK?
I enjoy fishing, camping and tinkering
with small motors.
WHAT CAN’T YOU LIVE
WITHOUT?
My wife, my family and my downtime.

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE PEOPLE
TO KNOW ABOUT YOU?
I grew up on the family farm just out of
Jitarning. After finishing school I intended to
study Naturopathy but ended up as a store
manager for Best & Less, travelling the state
from Broome to Albany. I met my husband
Chris when we were both 18yrs. In 2011 we
spent 9 fabulous months together travelling
around Australia (just a little testing when
maps were involved !). We married in
February 2012 & bought our first house all
within the same week, which was a little
stressful. Fast forward 4 years into what
was our ‘5 Year Plan’ to live in Corrigin and
Chris is still working through my ‘Jobs List’,
so safe to say we will be around for a while
yet to enjoy it all once it’s done, with our
gorgeous 2.5 year old daughter, Amity.

THREE WORDS? Happy, friendly and
stubborn (as Chris would say!)
HOW DO YOU RELAX WHEN
YOU’RE NOT AT WORK?
Travelling, spending time as a family &
cooking.

WITHOUT? My family.

TO KNOW ABOUT YOU?
My eye colour is blue and my left leg
is 1cm shorter than my right one !
I grew up and schooled in Corrigin and
completed a Carpentry Apprenticeship
(wood butchering) with Rose & Jones.
I ran my own business for 4 years,
before I started working at the Shire of
Corrigin in 2006. I have 3 small
humans and a VERY patient wife.

Mature, serious, moody !
HOW DO YOU RELAX WHEN
YOU’RE NOT AT WORK?
I like family adventures, movies,
squash and wake boarding, oh yes
and winding up my wife, Emily!
WHAT CAN’T YOU LIVE
WITHOUT?
Family, long holidays (minimum 3
months) and my tools.
