Capital Investment

Capital works planned for 2016-17 total $3.4M and will be

funded by General Revenue, Grants & Contributions (State &

Federal Agencies).

Expenditure on Roadwork's ($2.19M) is a major component

of this year’s budget

.

Council has also budgeted for a number

of improvements to community assets to ensure the

continually upgrade and asset preservation.

The following provides an indication of Council’s Capital

Investment budget by class.

The 2016-2017 budget has an increase focus on road

preservation and improvements, this has made possible to

the additional funding Council will receive in 2016-2017.

Council’s extensive capital road program includes the

upgrade of the following roads.

RATES PAYMENTS

The Shire provides two options for payment of your Rates.

Option 1-

Payment in full, less any entitled discount.

Option 2 -

Payment in four instalments:

1st Instalment due date:

17 October 2016

2nd Instalment due date 16 December 2016

3rd Instalment due date:

14 February 2017

4th Instalment due date

17 April 2017

Payment of Rates via Option 2 will result in the following;

Administration Charge - $10 per instalment

Instalment interest - 5.5% per annum

Pensioner Concessions

If you receive or hold any of the following Cards, you may be

eligible to receive a concession on your rates;

· Pension and hold a current Pensioner Concession Card

· State Seniors Card & Commonwealth Seniors Health Card

· State Seniors Card only

RATE INCENTIVE PRIZE

PAY BY THE 17 OCTOBER 2016

If you pay the total amount of your Rates

by 4.30pm on 17th October, you will be

entitled to enter into the Prize Draw to

WIN A $200 VOUCHER

from one of the

participating local Businesses.

Supplement Booklet, included with your Rate Notice, for full

conditions of entry.
