NEWLY ELECTED COUNCILLORS

Prior to commencement of the Special Meeting of Council, held on Monday 23 October 2017, newly elected Councillor Rick Gilmore was officially sworn in with returning Councillors Des Hickey and Matt Dickinson.

The election of Shire President and Deputy Shire President was conducted during the special meeting, with Lyn Baker elected unopposed as Shire President and Des Hickey elected unopposed as Deputy Shire President.

There is One (1) Vacancy to fill, for a four (4) Year Term on Council. Candidate nominations for the Shire of Corrigin Extraordinary Elections open on Thursday 26 October 2017 and close at 4.00pm on Thursday 2 November 2017.
