TO KNOW ABOUT YOU?
My parents were Austrian but I was born in
Perth. I spent 3 years schooling in Leoben,
Austria where I developed my snow skiing
skills, later becoming a trick skier. I’ve
been a lighting engineer for rock n roll
bands, working for Cold Chisel, INXS,
Australian Crawl and Midnight Oil. I owned
a musical instrument shop, Eric’s Music
Service, have worked as an Enrolled
Nurse at Shenton Park and Royal Perth
Hospital and I am a qualified Horticulturist
& Permaculturalist, working for the last 12
years at various Shires, including Bruce
Rock, East Pilbara and now at Corrigin.

Easy-going, team player and a prankster
HOW DO YOU RELAX WHEN
YOU’RE NOT AT WORK?
Listening to music (except Rap), watching
movies and relaxing with friends.

INTERESTS?
Gardening, being self-sufficient, music,
snow skiing and tennis.

My wife, my garden and my Bundy !

I have moved around a lot before love
brought me to Corrigin. I have been here
three years and have a beautiful family. I
love Corrigin it’s a great, small community.

Loud, fun, friendly.
HOW DO YOU RELAX WHEN
YOU’RE NOT AT WORK?
Playing with my daughter Madeline and
our horses.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES &
INTERESTS?
Horses mainly but I need to actually apply
myself to ride more, Speedway with my
Dad and brothers, helping with the set-up
of cars and racing, I hope to one day get
in the race cars. Spending time with my
family.
WHAT CAN’T YOU LIVE WITHOUT?
Madeline – my whole world is her and my
family.

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE PEOPLE
TO KNOW ABOUT YOU?
I grew up in the Adelaide Hills in SA and
worked as a team leader for 12 years,
teaching women how to make gift packs
for Charlesworth Nuts. I’ve travelled
extensively through most of northern
Australia. I married a local Corrigin boy,
Tony McMiles and have three children,
Lindy, Shane and Jody. I’ve worked at the
Shire for the last 4 years and when I
eventually retire (if ever), I’d love to go
travelling again.

HOW DO YOU RELAX WHEN
YOU’RE NOT AT WORK?
I really enjoy painting in either oil or acrylic
and have won many awards over the
years for my paintings.
