The Shire supports local with Work Experience
Geoffrey Sturges recently completed four weeks of Work
Experience at the Shire of Corrigin, working under the supervision
of Horticulturist, Eric Schmollengruber, in the townsite Parks and
Reserves team. Geoffrey said, he enjoyed tidying the gardens,
making footpaths and meeting other people but the mornings
were too cold!
Heather Waters, from specialist employment agency,
Forrest Personnel worked with the Shire to coordinate the unpaid work
experience placement, enabling Geoffrey to gain new skills,
update references and prepare him for future employment.
