GOVERNMENT OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA'S ROAD SAFETY COMMUNITY GRANTS PROGRAM
What can we support?
Grants are available for projects that focus on the Safe System approach that aligns with
Towards
Zero
the WA Road Safety Strategy 2008-2020.
When to apply?
Applications must be received at least three months prior to the event and are assessed bi-monthly.
Applications close on the first Friday of February, April, June, August, October and December. Application Form available

ACTIVE REGIONAL COMMUNITIES (ARC)
ARC aims to increase the opportunities for country people to participate in sporting and active-recreational activities in
regional Western Australia. The ARC scheme has three (3) specific funding categories:
Participation
,
Capacity Building
and
Event Hosting.
ARC caters for both sporting and active-recreational groups and is aimed at the club level or to those
groups who are not participating in the department’s Organisational Sustainability Program (OSP).
Grants from $1,000 to $5,000 are available with organisations needing to demonstrate a significant contribution
(up to 25%) towards the cost of the project/event and/or in-kind contribution.
