The street lights in Corrigin are the

responsibility of Western Power, who install

and maintain them on behalf of the local

council. Once a fault has been reported to

Western Power, their technicians will attend

to fault within 9 business days (for regional

areas).

Harvest Mass Management

Scheme - Improved Heavy

Vehicle Access for 2016 / 2017

Heavy Vehicle Services of Main Roads WA (MRWA) has

advised that it has amended its Harvest Mass Management

Scheme (HMMS) for 2016/17 to allow “…. improved 'first mile'

access to paddocks for Restricted Access Vehicles”.

Heavy Vehicle Services advise that the measures are

designed to assist operators in safely moving increased

quantities of grain from paddock to bin, in anticipation of a

bumper harvest.

The revised HMMS Business Rules and Guide to the updated

HMMS has been prepared by MRWA and is effective from

Monday 3 October 2016.
