Australian Citizenship
Ceremony for Corrigin
residents, Keith and
Joyce Fairlie
On Tuesday 20th September the Shire of Corrigin had
the pleasure in coordinating an Australian Citizenship
Ceremony for Corrigin residents, Joyce and Keith Fairlie.
Joined by Councillors and friends, the afternoon
ceremony was held at the Shire’s Council Chambers.
Originally from Zimbabwe in Africa, Joyce & Keith moved
to Corrigin in June 2007, when Keith (a Fitter & Turner)
was employed by Interline Sales, owned by Greg
Humphries. Joyce said their reason for applying to
become Australian Citizens was to belong, as they both
love living in Corrigin, with family members not far away
in Perth.
