Corrigin celebrates Australia
Day 2017 and Citizen of the
Year Awards...
Over 170 community members came together to
enjoy AUSTRALIA DAY 2017, held in the historic
Corrigin Town Hall, which proved the perfect venue
to escape the very hot weather conditions.
Australia Day Ambassador 2017, Professor Ralph
Martins AO travelled to Corrigin with his family, to
join this years celebrations and presented an
interesting speech about his life and dedicated work
towards the prevention and cure of Alzheimer’s
Disease.
A delicious BBQ breakfast was enjoyed by
everyone, followed by presentations of the Australia
Day, Citizen of the Year Awards. Congratulations to
the worthy nominees, who all make a difference in
our community and demonstrate incredible
community spirit.
