The new Community
Playground is well
underway at the
Corrigin Oval.
The exciting new play equipment is in
position and child safety fencing and
shade sail frame work has been
erected at the playground site. Shire
staff are currently building a limestone
wall around the play area to contain
the soft-fall sand. Shade Sails from
the original Oval Playground will be
reused and reinstalled. Building works
are expected to be completed in the
first week of August 2016 and the new
Community Playground will then be
open for everyone to enjoy.
The Shire of Corrigin was successful
in securing $40,284
in funding support
towards the Community Playground
project, through
Lotterywest Grants“Community Spaces - Outdoor”.
