Rockview Cropping Land - Applications Invited

ROCKVIEW CROPPING LAND – APPLICATION

The Shire of Corrigin invites applications from local sporting clubs and community groups to crop the Shire owned property known as Rockview to raise funds.  The land has been cropped for the past three years by the Corrigin District High School Parents and Citizens Committee (P & C) with the current agreement due to expire on 31 December 2021. The Corrigin P & C will be responsible for clearing the land of all weeds at the completion of the current agreement.

The Rockview land is approximately 100 hectares and will be available from

1 January 2022 to sporting clubs and community groups on the basis of a two or three year term.  

  1. Details of the number of years the club or group wishes to crop the land, and
  2. A planting program for the period sought subject to Council approval.

Application forms are available from the Shire Office at 9 Lynch Street, Corrigin or on the website below.

Please email your application to Kirsten Biglin at eso@corrigin.wa.gov.au by 4pm on 30 July 2021. It is envisaged that Council will make a decision on the use of the land in August 2021.
