A reminder to community members, clubs and groups that the 2018-2019 Shire Budget is now being formulated.

Council invites written submissions from community Clubs and Groups for  consideration in this year’s Shire Budget

• Submissions will need to clearly explain what is sought, accurately define the cost to Council and advise the in-kind or cash contribution from the Shire and/or community club or group, for the project proposal.
• Submissions from community clubs and groups must be in writing, addressed to the CEO and be received by 4.30pm on Friday 25 May 2018.
• Outcomes of community budget requests will be available for applicants after the Shire of Corrigin 2018-2019 Budget has been passed in August 2018.

Whilst all requests will be considered during the Budget process, Council will be mindful that any additional projects are those reasonably reflected in the Strategic Community Plan 2017-2027 and will be a sound use of public funds.
