Agricultural Show and Dyson Jones Corrigin Shears

Held around the end of August or beginning of Septepmber each year, the Agricultural show is full of wonderful things to see from large farm machinery to local crafts, fashion parades to sheaf tossing and gumboot throwing competitions. There is a 'sideshow alley' for the kids and heaps of food to tempt your tastebuds.

The Dyson Jones Corrigin Shears competition is also held on this day, and is another display of agricultural life, and the talented shearers. In 2005 there was the addition of a small speed shears competition around dusk. A great day out for the whole family.
