Australia Day Celebrations & Citizen of the Year Awards

The 2003 Australia Day Celebrations with breakfast at the Museum

In Previous years, The Corrigin Historical Society has hosted an Australia Day breakfast every year for the community. At the breakfast the winners of the Citizen, Young Citizen and Community Event of the Year have been announced.

From 2006 the Australia Day Breakfast has been held in newly refurburbished 'Miss B's Park' in Campbell Street and everyone is welcome to attend this celebration and partake in a free brekky.

February/March

Welcome to Corrigin
A sundowner is held around late February - mid March where the Corrigin community welcomes all new residents. Council holds the event and all new residents are invited to attend.

April

ANZAC Day - 25 April

A dawn service is held on the 25th April each year beginning at around 5.30am at the memorial on top of the hill in McAndrew Avenue. Check local paper closer to date for starting time.

May

Australia's Biggest Morning Tea - held at Corrigin IGA
