Town planning scheme amendment available for inspection

No. 4 Notice is hereby given that the Shire of Corrigin has prepared the above-mentioned town planning scheme amendment for the following purpose:

  1. To reclassify the northern portion of Lot 53 Kunjin Street (corner Corrigin-Kondinin Road), Corrigin comprising an area of approximately 5.69 hectares from ‘Rural Residential’ zone to ‘Special Use’ zone.

  2. Amending Schedule 3 - Special Use Zones of the Scheme Text by adding Special Use No.9 Development Standards/Conditions.

  3. Amending Schedule No.1 – Interpretations of the Scheme Text by adding the following: 
    “Agricultural Machinery Display, Sales & Repairs – Means land and buildings used for the display, sale, maintenance and mechanical repair of new and second-hand agricultural/farming equipment, machinery and vehicles”.

  4.  Amend the Scheme Map in accordance with the Scheme Amendment Map.

Documents and plans setting out and explaining the scheme amendment proposal have been deposited at the Shire of Corrigin Administration Centre, 9 Lynch Street, Corrigin and at the Western Australian Planning Commission, Gordon Stephenson House, 140 William Street, Perth and will be available for public inspection during office hours up to and including 15 May 2017.

Submissions on the scheme amendment may be made in writing and lodged with the Shire’s Chief Executive Officer at PO Box 221, Corrigin WA 6375 or submitted in person at the Shire of Corrigin Administration Office by no later than 15 May 2017.
