Nestled in the central Wheatbelt and located 235km south-east of Perth, the capital of Western Australia, Corrigin is predominantly a farming community with cropping and sheep its main industries.
Corrigin is a progressive community and pro-active in improving all facets of country living. A great alternative to the city, Corrigin offers all the necessary services and facilities including medical, educational, recreational, economical and social. It is only in the country that you can develop a relationship with the whole community, where everyone knows you and you know them.

Corrigin Agricultural Show and Dyson Shears
Next Show: 13th SEPTEMBER 2008
Held in Septepmber each year, the Agricultural show is full of wonderful things to see from large farm machinery to local crafts, fashion parades to sheaf tossing and gumboot throwing competitions. There is a 'sideshow alley' for the kids and heaps of food to tempt your tastebuds.
The Dyson Jones Corrigin Shears competition is also held on this day, and is another display of agricultural life, and the talented shearers. In 2005 there was the addition of a small speed shears competition around dusk. A great day out for the whole family.
