Disability Access & Inclusion Plan

The Disability Services Act (1993) was amended in December 2004, and now requires public authorities to develop and implement Disability Access and Inclusion Plans (DAIPs).

Access and Inclusion is about ensuring that all public services, facilities and information is available to all community members, including those who have a disability, so that they have the opportunity and choice to participate in all aspects of community life.

If you would like further information on DAIPs or require information in an alternative format (audio, electronic, large print) there is information on the Disability Services website www.dsc.wa.gov.au or contact the shire office on 9063 2203 or shire@corrigin.wa.gov.au.
